States on-demand water heaters use a high-fire burner to quickly raise the temperature of water passing through a copper heat exchanger. Only after the heater senses the demand for hot water does the burner initiate its ignition sequence, ignite and begin to heat the flow of water.
All State on- demand heaters are gas-fired. And because the burner is not ignited until there is a demand for hot water, theyre highly energy efficient.
